The 21602 can be powered by a 6.0-Ah lithium-ion battery (included) or a 2.6-Ah lithium-ion battery (a light-weight option--not included). The included battery is compatible with all Greenworks lithium-ion products, and it provides up to 45 minutes of use per charge--up to three times longer runtime than comparable nickel-cadmium batteries and up to 2,000 cycles. This long-lasting battery also maintains consistent power, so you won't be disturbed by power lapses or surges.
